TERRY'S BEAUTIFUL WOMEN

After being lost in the huge all-star cast of the WW2 epic The Longest Day (1962), Connery’s polished demeanor and ultra-masculine appeal was noticed by producer Harry Saltzman, who cast him as James Bond in the first big-screen 007 adventure, Dr. No (1962). The first Bond film was so popular that it spawned its own genre, and Connery reprised the role in many other Bond films. In 1952, Bardot appeared on screen for the first time as Javotte Lemoine in Le Trou Normand (1952). Two others followed and it was also the same year she married Roger Vadim. The fascination of her in the US consisted of magazines photographs and dubbed over French films. In 1965, she appeared as herself in the US made Dear Brigitte (1965) with James Stewart. She only appeared in one scene.
