From the extraordinary archives of the Getty Images Gallery in London, these hand-printed, fine-art resin prints are authentic, historic and unique.

The selection at g-1 has been carefully chosen in collaboration with the Getty Images Gallery. All images are accompanied by an individually signed Certificate of Authenticity.

Available framed or unframed, the images are double mounted in black and white using quality materials. The archival imagery of the Getty Images Gallery is sourced from the Hulton Archive which comprises over 300 separate collections of original negatives, making it one of the greatest resources of original archive photography in the world.

The library was founded by Edward Hulton, publisher of the seminal news weekly, Picture Post which revolutionised photojournalism and picture magazine publishing in Britain and beyond.

In 1957, the archive was bought by the BBC who added the Daily Express and Evening Standard collections providing coverage of British and international events and personalities from 1939 to the early 1980s. All the images featured have been created from this unique Collection. They have been printed on resin based photographic paper and, with careful handling, will last a lifetime.

The Certificate of Authenticity, warrants that the image has been printed by the Getty Images Gallery in London and that it has been sold with their approval through their approved distributor, g-1.
