Largest g-1 store planned in Qatar

g-1’s largest store to date has been selected on the prestigious Pearl development in Qatar. The retail gallery group is working with franchise partner Tariq Al-Jaidah of the Al-Jaidah Brothers Inc. in Qatar and is confident that there is significant demand for its products in the City of Doha and in the wider context of Qatar. According to Gregg Sedgwick, CEO at g-1 “We prefer premium retail space even if the costs are higher. We rely on high footfall and proximity of high-end brands. At The Pearl, we are confident that, with time, the development fulfills every criteria”. The store is due to open later in 2010 and preparation has already commenced with the development of bespoke products and acquisition of photographic prints.
