Through the bitterly chilly winter months of 2010/11, Gregg Sedgwick has been working on a new collection of London panoramic images. Using the ultra-high quality Linhoff Technorama camera, the images are originated using conventional film. The aim was to show London in a ‘new light’, “we want to portray ubiquitous scenes in a way that is fresh – that may be the mood of the image, the position of the light or simply the time of day – whatever it is, it means a lot of standing around on bridges, pathways and parapets – waiting for the right conditions for the elusive moment in time”, Gregg Sedgwick.
